Hailing from the green countryside of the Hudson Valley and transplanted to Brooklyn eight years ago, keyboard singer-songwriter Julia VanTieghem creates original songs that explore longings of the heart. Her most recent EP "Rebloom," released in January 2014, celebrates resilience in life and love. Her debut EP "Trampled Gardens" was also self-released in 2006. With a background as a classically trained pianist and vocalist, her emotionally honest solo style evokes comparisons to Regina Spektor and Fiona Apple.
